Default Giving up the BB- how to wipe it clean? - 08-05-2009, 10:05 PM

Hey everyone,
so I bit the dust and switched to the iphone (which, so far, i love!) but I'm selling my BB - is there an easy way to wipe it clean, It'll be deactivated on the 9th when our contract is up, but is there a way to like "reset" it all and get all of my information off of it (without windows??)

thanks!!

Wirelessly posted

Options | Security Options | General Settings, activate the BlackBerry menu and choose the option to Wipe Handheld.

That should do it. It will wipe all data and remove 3rd party apps.

Pity you switched!!

I did after I got the first gen iphone, which was horrible. I have the 3GS now and aside from ATT garbage 3g, I like it better then my Bold.

Agree, gave the iPhone and 3G 6 months a piece. Just no way you can be as productive on an iPhone as a BB.

You'll be back, but in the mean time have fun with your new toy it is a great device.
