Sync Problems
 

I have a blackberry 8320 and am a Mac user (just purchased a new macbook so it is updated). i recently downloaded pocketmac syncmanager and its updated drivers to sync between the two. I have a problem though. it takes forever to sync and does not finish. i let it sit for 2 hours once and it was not completed. when i hit cancel it says this

Synchronization cancelled. Some data may not have been synchronized.

is there anything i can do about this? has anyone else had this problem?

Strange. I have a MacBook Pro and have PocketMac installed. Ran it after it was installed, everything came over just as one would expect. No need to keep it in sync as I use Google Sync for calendar, etc.

Are you also connected to BES?

Have any exotic software running?

what is BES? i am not running an exotic software. I am using ical, mail, and the directory application that comes with my mac. I am not sure what is wrong

Check out the Mac section. I am going to move this thread there so maybe you will get some more visibility.

Also try a search on PocketMac. AND the Mac version of Desktop Manager is coming out in September. Should be pretty good according to the reviews.
