Default DM for Mac now Oct 2 - 09-27-2009, 07:40 PM

Desktop Manager for Mac DELAYED!

"We reported a couple days ago that the official release of DM for Mac was going to go live this week. But alas, it's been delayed. Reports are that there were some unexpected bugs that needed a good squashing. Not to worry though, our ninja has provided us with a new release date of October 2nd. Hey, that's not too bad is it?"

Yeah, this stinks, but then I've been waiting since forever for a proper Mac Desktop Manager, so another week isn't so bad. Besides, I haven't been holding my breath because RIM has an unfortunate history of delays, so this really isn't a shocker.

I wonder how long it will be before someone posts about how RIM hates customers, especially Mac customers? Maybe we can even get some of the "special" members here to rant about how we should boycott RIM (The BlackBerry Company)...

Another example about how RIM hates its CUSTOMERS.
We should boycott the Mac until the RIM makes the DM work on the Mac for the RIM.

Exactly! Oh wait... you were mocking me.

By the way, the "proper" way to spell RIM is RIMM, and the proper way to spell Mac is MAC. Don't you know anything? Sheesh...

Not at all. At least that wasn't my intent. Just being the best curmudgeon that I can be!

I was making fun on the rant generators.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

I am sure users prefer a working product. One week is not long

Try holding your breath under water for a week. See what happens if you're a week late for a plane flight. Try calculating the air they'd have had left if the moon mission took an extra week. A week can be quite a long time.

It looks like RIM really hates us blackberry users. Maybe we should boycott them until they get a working DM out here?

I can hold my breath under water for a week, I am my own pilot and have my own aircraft (so I'm rarely late to my own boarding call), and it's widely known that the astronauts that went to the moon were, in fact, aliens capable of surviving, ironically enough, one week per breath.

Okay, I've reset my mental countdown timer for 4 more days. But this is their last chance. I really mean it this time. I want RIM to know that if they miss this one and I have a mental breakdown, it's on their heads. I just hope they can live with themselves.
