Default Downgrade when using a mac.

Please Login to Remove!

I have a mac and I just upgraded to the latest 5.0.0.545
This was a mistake.
Among other things lost the fact I cannot just drop the phone into my pocket / bag / whatever and know the keyboard lock is kicking in is a huge loss. I've read that others say to just click to shut things down but that's not the point. RIM have added actions where there were none. They have turned what really should be in their code code into a pita.

So, I want to downgrade but have yet to find out how to do this when I have a mac. Is it possible? Alternately how would I completely remove the OS so the desktop manager asks me? Or is there a keyboard lock that has been updated?
Thanks.
