Macbook Pro and Blackberry won't pair
 

I am trying to sync BB with Mac. I downloaded the BB software for Mac but it says it can't pair the devices. What can I do?

Are you trying to pair the mac and BB via bluetooth or are you looking to sync the two?

Update: Finally got it to work. I think I didn't completely install software- still learning about how Mac works. But now that I've installed it, it's connected, I can't seem to engage the green sync button. I told it what I wanted to sync, but nothing happens when I click on sync

Another update. The sync happened- I switched ports. But my appointments did not transfer from BB to ical. Although I told it to replace. Ideas?

For some reason, I thought bluetooth only worked for ear pieces, not for syncing....am I wrong?

Although I don't use Bluetooth for my syncing needs, I don't see why it could not be done. I have a "new" Macbook Pro that I couple with my Bold via a USB cable. I have it set to open & sync on discovery, and it works like a charm .... so I've never bothered with the Bluetooth.
