Is there anyway to change it so only the presents years events are shown instead of having a reoccurring event such as a birthday be in the agenda from the present year and on? anysuggestions of answers appreciated thankyou

I actually turned off reminders for birthdays as I found the view too annoying so I too would like to hear on this one. Instead Address Book and iCal take care of this for me now rather than my BB (not that I exactly need to have this information on the BB).

I had a problem when syncing the birthdays to my blackberry, they ended up transferring but with a blank subject line. That was when i used the "Birthday" option under iCal, did either of you have this problem? B!B! how did you turn off the reminders?

To the first OP,

While you're in the agenda view on your blackberry, just highlight the event and delete it. It will prompt you if you want to delete the series or just the occurance that the event is dated on. Delete the occurance and that past event is gone from the blackberry but the future occurances will remain.
