Default PocketMac... current state? - 05-08-2006, 09:01 AM

Hi there - I just bought an 8700g through T-Mobile.

I had tried the network card but that didn't work well with my PowerBook at all. So, on to the BB.

I am loving the email connectivity. However, when I attempted to sync my Address Book, it only brought over 1/3 of the contacts. I couldn't find any rhyme or reason why that was.

Is this just the way it is?
Any tricks people can share?

And how dangerous is the syncing? I would be happy to sync from my Mac to the BB and not vv. Is there anyway to only do that?

Thank you for any and all ideas.

yikes. I just posted a question that is similar. I have a 7250 and sync to a macbook with pocketmac but have issues with losing data and data randomly changing in my address/contacts. if you get a good idea pass it on, it's driving me nuts

Check out this discussion that I posted last week...

PocketMac and Advanced Preferences.

There is a way to only PUSH the data from the Mac to your blackberry, overwriting everything on the BB...under advanced preferences.

Hope this helps.
