Default can you use 7130 BB for a modem on an ibook? - 05-27-2006, 04:24 PM

anyone know?? i'm wanting to purchase the 7130, but until i can get it confirmed that it would work as a modem for my ibook, i'm holding off.

if not, i'm thinking of getting an aircard with an adaptor, but i dont know if that is possible either. any help?? my ibook does not has a slot for the aircard.

You can not use any BlackBerry as a modem on any Mac...

do you know of any PDA that will? now i'm thinking of aircard or possibly the moto Q that is coming out for verizon in the next week.

I don't know about the Q but the new 700p can work as a modem. I was really hoping for the same thing: 7130= modem for powerbook. Oh well.....

I'm currently using the Nokia E61 and it works great as a modem for my iBook.
