Default 8700f and MacBook Pro - 07-22-2006, 04:40 AM

Hi Just purchased a 8700f on Orange yesterday, will the cd work in my Mac and what exactly does it do, will I be able to synch say Filemaker Pro 7 with all my contacts etc, I have just subscribed to the data bundle at this time, do not really want it as my phone. I am having problems getting my head around how to set it up using my Mac, is all this poss, perhaps someone can point me to a good thread etc.

Hi, i have bb 7290 and macbook pro.
I had a lot of problems using pocketmac with ical and address book.
What kind of software do you use for syncing?

well thats just the problem, I have no synching software, I have no idea which direction to go in just yet, I assumed the CD would do it all but probably it doesn't what do you suggest I need?

Hi alex

you're gonna have to use pocketmac to sync with your mac its a free download . What's your tariff deal with Orange and are you a business or consumer user, Need to get a BB on Orange or O2 as my current t-mobile signal strength is crap!. so any info would be helpful.
