Mail is sync'ed _wirelessly_
You don't need to sync mail!
PocketMac will not sync anything which has wireless sync turned on, period.

Not mail, email addresses. it is hard to send someone an email address when you do not have the recipient's address in your address book. I am having that problem too. I hope there is a solution soon. frankly this is a deal breaker.

Ok I think I figured it out. If you go into your addressbook (on the Mac, NOT on the Pearl) and look at your email addresses, you will probably see that the label next to the address says "email." you need to change the label to either "work," "home" or "other" then when you sync it will sync correctly. This worked for me.

Default sync troubleshooting - 10-16-2006, 12:05 PM

I am a first time blackberry and macbook owner. Just downloded the newest pocketmac software and was hoping syncing my pearl would be easy but it wasn't. it looks like it is working then I get a message saying that it could not find the blackberry device. the USB is connectd properly. any suggestions? thanks.
