Default An unexpected error has occurred: Bad owner key. - 10-14-2006, 05:24 PM

Any idea what that error means? I get it when synchronizing my BB Pearl. Everything goes fine, but after sync, I get a message that errors occured. When I click on the dialog, I get that message.

Like I said, it works perfectly. All my stuff syncs 100% every time.

I'm using Pocket Mac 4.0 and OS 10.4.8.

Thanks in advance.

Default Bad owner key - 12-28-2006, 05:36 PM

Hello,

I emailed BB support earlier today with this same problem and here is the response I got--

"Please trying syncing a few more times. It should go away. Sorry for the inconvenience."

This is RIDICULOUS! Before I started getting this message, my phone was syncing over 100 BLANK notes and tasks! When I went back to re-sync, it started telling me bad owner key, etc. How many times do we need to "try" again?

Wink Solution... kind of... - 05-07-2007, 10:41 PM

I found that if I uncheck everything then click 'Sync', PocketMac will succeed. Then add back the services one at a time. Seems that the infamous 'Lauren' needs to spend less time e-mailing me about her corporate internals and more time testing their releases.

Default Still doing this in 4.0.20 - 08-29-2007, 04:05 PM

As of 4.0.20 of PocketMac for the Blackberry still seems to experience an occasional brain hemorrhage.

I have over 8000 bogus memopad entries and another 3700 blank to-do entries.

The proposed solution from PocketMac support? Reset my entire device and more or less start over unless I want to spend 10 hours deleting these manually (@ ~3 seconds per record).

This is unacceptable. Can anyone tell me if MarkSpace is any better?
