Default Holy Crap Pulse works on my 7130e!

Please Login to Remove!

Still pretty slow, but i am posting this at work from my G4 Powerbook running OSX 10.4.8 via Bluetooth using the Verizon 7130e!

I am somewhat excited! Of course the slow speed to cost of $50 is something i am still rolling around in my head on making the full commitment to buy, but at least there is a demo to test out that it really does work with your BB device!

Did you notice an increase in your minutes of phone use or not?

Not yet, but i need to look over my bill again. I was trying to pin down with the author if this "proxy" is using the trick the sharkmodem does where its a bit slower but doesnt use the tethered edge network (which is like an additional $30 some bucks from verizon on top of my $30 unlimited access)

I would buy it today if i could get that nailed down, but my answers to it are still vague and my trail is about to expire and i really haven't done enough heavy internet usage to full test if it will impact my bill.

I tired Pulse as well and it worked, I'm not so hot on the cost though especially considering that PC users can do it for free...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7130e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

You can check your minutes if you call #646. Do that and see if your minutes increased from having used Pulse or not. If it doesn't then I'm definately up for it. Even if it does, I'd only be using it for sending emails with attachments and quick stuff on sites that BB won't handle.

Ok, here's another question, but you'll probably be able to tell me this one. What do I do with the script on the website that it gives? Save it to the comp?
