Default During PocketMac Sync 'Device Removed Error' BlackBerry Resets

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I have just got a BlackBerry Pearl and am trying to sync between my MacBook using PocketMac.
It looks like the contacts and address book syncs OK but when it tries to sync the calender the message box requesting that PocketMac is allowed to access the iCal database pops up and then immediately the Device Removal box pops up and my Pearl has a solid red LED until I unplug the USB cable and then it resest and seems to be alright with my contacts etc...
I have been reading a lot of threads here about issues with PocketMac however I couldn't see one with my problem.
Is anyone able to provide any ideas on how to fix this?
Cheers,
