Question Please help--Handango and Mac?? - 12-22-2006, 02:22 PM

Hi! I am a new Blackberry user...and I have searched the forums for this answer...but can not seem to come across it.

I recently purchased two apps for the Blackberry Pearl. I have an iMac G5. I am trying to get the apps from my iMac to my Pearl. I already have PocketMac, but there doesn't seem to be an option for sync-ing apps.

When I looked around on handango--there was a link to downloading onto a mac...but then they were talking about HotSync--I do not have that app. Is that an additional app one must get to download apps from a mac?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
Mara

i believe hotsync is for syncing with a palm. the new pocketmac does sync data but I have not been able to get it to work. I had to use a pc for putting programs on my phone.

Default Loading apps - 12-25-2006, 11:15 PM

I have used PocketMac 4 to load apps on to my 8700g on my Mac. It hasn't worked with every program, though. I also sync without a problem (ical, address book, and Entourage)
