Unhappy Ok i got apps installed...now i want them out!

Please Login to Remove!

I got PocketMac to successfully install some apps, and I also got some OTA ones installed but after using a couple I don't like them Like I have 3 Instant Message apps but only want to keep Ramble, how do I delete the other two? I tried using PocketMac and it doesn't work is there a way I can do it directly on the device my blackberry menu is getting full and annoying

ALSO

is there a way to hide some of the icons, without deleting the app such as: I like the google maps app but won't use it every single day and don't want to have to scroll through 20 app icons to get to the one I want, but also don't want to delete the 20 extra apps off the device?

thanks!

>Options >Applications > Scroll to the app you want to delete and delete it. If you don't see it in the list of applications then click the wheel (or menu key on Pearl) and select "view modules." Find the modules associated with your app and delete them. Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out which ones are the right ones. If you can't figure out which ones to delete then post back with the apps and I'm sure someone here will probably know.

To hide icons, it's highlight the icon, press alt+trackwheel and select hide icon.

Thank you so much, I found the modules even before I read the post but in fear of deleting something important to the phones funtioning properly I steered clear from deleting anything. I'll type out any ones I think might be the ones I want to delete and post it here and possibly someone with a bit more experience can tell me what app the module pertains to and if it is infact ok to delete it, thanks!

Hi, i have similar problem but under "options" i dont have a menu for "Applications"? I only recieved my 8100 2days ago and really starting to wonder what t-mobile in uk have done to its software, as half the options in manual dont exist on mine?

Any ideas?

You need to go to >Options >Advanced Options >Applications. That's where the other half of your options are!

Make sure you do NOT install Bookmark Manager. You WON'T be able to Uninstall. Nothing works. That includes Module Deletion (doesn't work), deleting with PocketMac (doesn't work).

Word to the wise....

Try Surewipe from Mobylo. It works. I used it to delete mine.
