Default Please help!! New to Mac & Blackberry ...

I have had a Pearl for several months now. The desktop software worked fine w/ my pc before. Now that I have a Macbook (intel) the desktop software does not work. I'm sure you all know this. I have looked through the forums and nothing quite answers my questions.

The forums seem to say that pocketmac sucks, and that the bluetooth feature does not work. I have been able to move my address book back and forth via bluetooth, but i would like to be able to sync regularly, and also sync my calendar. I currently use entourage, but am happy to use ical if that helps the situation.

Can anyone tell me how I should go about syncing my Pearl with my MacBook?

Thank you

I still prefer the use of Parallels or BootCamp. Yes it requires using the Windows OS but it's a small inconvenience instead of the hit miss sync that occurs with PocketMac or worse possible loss of data. I use BootCamp myself on my MacBook.

I spoke to a Rogers rep today (I'm in Canada, eh), and he said a reason I wasn't able to jump back and forth between Mac and PC was because of Mass Storage Mode. When using Mac and USB connectivity, I'm always asked whether I want to turn on Mass Storage Mode. I say yes, and it creates a drive on my desktop with my bb folders. I download into these folders, whether movies, pics, or music. When going to PC, before I connect via USB, I had to turn Mass Storage Mode off. On my pearl, I went to Options, Advanced Options, Media Card, and then turned off Mass Storage Mode. I then connect via USB, run the software manager, and it works. Hope this helps.
