Can anyone tell me why every email I compose in my mail account ( I use gmail) gets forwarded to my blackberry.

that's gmail's default behavior...and it can't be changed. I want to know why my .mac mail shows up every once in a while on my pearl. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not.

It can be changed. Set a filter on your BIS not to forward any emails that are in your gmail account, and FROM [email address]

to your BB.
