I have the duel core MAC (im a new user) 2GB 2.33GHZ and have just bought a BB pearl 8100. i have tried and tried to get my machine to connect to it through pocketbook but just keep getting this message...

[04:26:11.795] Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.

can anyone advise me?
