Wahoo! I've been hanging out or this. I won't be able to test it until later on tonight so I would love to hear from anyone who is using it. Fingers crossed it's better than PocketMac....

Default Beta doesn't support Overwrite Desktop with Handheld Data?

I installed the MissingSync beta but do not see an option for Overwriting Desktop with Handheld Data (for Contacts or Addresses). I have posted the question at MissingSync's forum as well.

My BB8100 contacts are correct - thus, I wanted to overwrite AddressBook with Handheld data...
MissingSynch only offers options to Overwrite Handheld with Desktop data which doesn't help and Synchronize which results in a Sync Services error on my MBPro.

I'm still hopeful that MissingSync might be the stable sync solution for the Mac. They have 3-4 months to demonstrate stability before I get rid of my BB for an iPhone as the Synching will probably be bulletproof.

Why don't you (after backup of course) just select all in addressbook and delete before synching?

I have been using this for a few days and even in Beta mode, it works much better than PocketMac ever did. I noticed that on the Missing Sync page, in case you don't know how to get it, here is another link: hxxp://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24211.

The other thing I noticed... The developers are actually on the forums and message boards for Missing Sync and they take their time out to respond to posts and help solve the minor issues that some people are experiencing.

i use Daylite 3.2 as complete contact management solution. Does anyone know if the beta works with Daylite? I did not see anything on the web site about it.

missing sync only works with sync services apps (addressbook, ical, etc). can daylite use sync services? if so, make it so, and missing sync will work.

My iCal syncs flawlessly... I am having trouble syncing my Push to Talk ID's on my 7100i NEXTEL... Anyone have success with this issue?

Take the MissingSync survey and let them know what you want in your Mac Blackberry sync product:
>Survey Here<

IMHO, two crucial gaps exist: the ability to do BB OS upgrading and to sync password with SplashID.
