| If you can get that application as a standalone .ALX file, you can use PocketMac's file installation program to put it onto your handheld. I recommend you ask whoever is providing that file to you (Cingular or RIM) if they can provide it in .ALX format.
If it's an inextricable part of the BlackBerry OS, then unfortunately, you would have to use a PC to install it.
We have a big request in with RIM to be given access to the ability to install BlackBerry OS files... access to it just hasn't been released to us yet.
