Default help with attachments - 03-21-2007, 12:04 PM

Hello, I have an 8700c with Cingular. Apparently I didn't install -- or forgot to install -- the attachment application when I reinstalled my handheld's OS. How can I install that app now? It seems as if all the instructions are for Desktop Manager on a PC, but unfortunately I'm running a Mac with PocketMac 4.0

any ideas?

If you can get that application as a standalone .ALX file, you can use PocketMac's file installation program to put it onto your handheld. I recommend you ask whoever is providing that file to you (Cingular or RIM) if they can provide it in .ALX format.

If it's an inextricable part of the BlackBerry OS, then unfortunately, you would have to use a PC to install it.

We have a big request in with RIM to be given access to the ability to install BlackBerry OS files... access to it just hasn't been released to us yet.

Sincerely,
Anne B.
