Ok. I'm ready to toss my Pearl out the window. Have spent days reading every post I can find on connection issues with Pocketmac, Pearl and Intel iMac. Nothing seems to work. The error message is:

[10:05:02.729] Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.

I'm trying to connect via Bluetooth

Help! Please?

I use USB to sync my 8800, Pocketmac doesnt give me an option for Bluetooth syncing. I wish it did.

PocketMac doesn't support Bluetooth synchronization. Hook it up with a USB cable.

Ok. I plugged the USB cable in and it works. But why oh why, did Bluetooth work on my Powerbook G4 12" and it does not work on my 24" Intel iMac?

And please don't respond and say Bluetooth does not work with PocketMac. As I say, it worked perfectly on my old G4 laptop.

from what i understand bluetooth sync is not available via PM, but the USB works decent enough

well it does not work on my pb G4. I dont understand why they dont enable this, other phones have been doing this for awhile and it seems like a good thing to have.

Pocketmac doesn't work that well with alot of blackberries. Try missingsync.com as I have had more luck there.
