Default Desktop Media Manager..?

What is this? Do i need it? I have a mac rather than PC so, typically, the software disk I had with the phone doesn't work on my computer. Do I really need to use it?

With a MAC, you will need PocketMac to sync your BB back to your mac. More details in the Mac forum here on this board.
