I have the exact same problem as well.
From what I read there was a patch being distributed through support however, they have not sent one to me.

Perhaps the ignoring the syn issues is a way of forcing people to update to their new software? Or is it that they just don't care about the buggy NOW and PM is too lazy to fix the problem on their as they know the software line has been discontinued. Whatever the case this is unacceptable the the users of Now and Blackberry. Where is RIM? They should be stepping to resolve the problem
I will never update NOW to NIGHTHAWK. The only reason we are using NOW is because the company had been fighting with it for years before I arrived. We are about to change to an iCal server, where we can use stable open source software. I've worked with NOW for many years and it has been nothing but trouble and the Now software ignores support tickets. They don't even allow support discussions for NOW on their company forum. A terrible company with horrible software. Stay away!
That said, a patch would be nice.
