I have an iMac, an 8830 and am using Missing Sync (because I used it on my Treo). Everything worked perfectly the first time (syncing iCal and Address Book) , except there are a couple of applications I would like to download. Could you point me in the right direction?

And secondly, is the only way to silence the ringer to go to profiles? I mean, is there no button to silence it?

Is PocketMac a solution for adding applications? Could I download my applications on PocketMac then go back to Missing Sync for ongoing syncing since it seems to work perfectly?

did you ever get an answer to this question? I am having the same issue. I just got my first BB (8300) and there are some apps I want to load, but can't use the app loader since it is just for Windows. Also, is there anyway to access files on the memory card that are not in the media folder? I have some files in the system folder that shows up, but I have no idea how to access them through the menu on my 8300.

If you are referring to silencing your phone while it's ringing I believe the right button on the top of the phone (looks like a speaker with a slash through it) will do the trick. Oh, and PocketMac has a feature that lets you add programs to the phone... but I don't know how to use it. Good luck.

I didn't see any option in PocketMac to install software on the Blackberry... but I did see a Handango link to purchase applications in it...
