Default MissingSync transferring slow

Please Login to Remove!

I have a newbie mac/BB question: I've been using MissingSync to sync my BB 8830 and my mac. It seems to work well, except for that it runs extremely slow. This is especially evident when it copies an itunes playlist onto the SD card. I know that I shouldn't compare it to my ipod's sync speed ... but it just seems like data is being transferred at a much slower rate than is possible with USB.

Is this normal for mac and BB syncing, or am I missing a driver to speed up my connection? The BB cable is definitely plugged into a USB 2.0 port, so I don't think its a hardware issue.

Just wondering if anyone could share their experience. Thanks in advance for your help.
