I read somewhere that you can pay lilke 5 dollars to get an application that will make the ball in the center of your blackberry change colors.

Does anyone know where I can get something like this for free?

You may have difficulty getting that application to work if the phone you have listed is the phone you actually have.

Correct me if I am wrong, but only the 8100 model Pearls have the 4 color LEDs under the trackball. The 8130 does not, which will mean you cannot change the trackball color.

I came across this couple of days ago, this is the "ghetto" way to change the pearl's color for ANY Blackberry that doesn't have the 4 LEDs, or you can't afford the 5 dollars for the colorpearl application.

color pearl doesn't work on any other berry than the 8100, only one with the color lights behind track ball

I just don't understand why RIM doesn't install the color LED in ALL of their trackball devices...

because rim saw color pearl and didn't want us to have it for free i bet, it is a conspiracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
