Seriously though, this is just because the high number is overflowing the region. Not much I can do other than tell you not to have so many messages unread.

So the theme purposely puts the message icon with a count over the apple icon and carrier name? Seems like a poor design to me, especially when there's so much whitespace to the right there.

I tried buying this from Bplay, but they never sent me the email with the link to download/install the theme. I sent them a message requesting them to resend it, but I just got an automated response saying it may take up to 14 days for them to respond. If I don't hear anything by the time my credit card bill is due, I'll be issuing a chargeback.

Yea, especially when you assume that every carrier only has a 4 character long name.

You're right, its called creative license. Make your own if you'd rather something else.

I bought it from Bplay and it does infact have a vm indicator. My only complaint is that there is no date displayed.
