Default Can I put videos on my 8703e with OS 4.2.1?

Please Login to Remove!

I want to put some small videos I made onto it to show off to people, is this possible? I downloaded the 4.2.1 OS which I read is the most recent, got Roxio Media Manager to work, was able to transfer the mp4 movie file but it doesn't show up in the phone. Neither does new folders created in Roxio. I got a ringtone to work fine no problem, so is 4.2.1 just not able to play video? Thanks,

Welcome to BB Forums!

The 8703e does not have a microSD expansion card.

You can only put videos onto the microSD card.

That's not true, but the 8703e does not support videos just the same.

Yes, just not one without a MicroSD slot. You can put it on device memory. It just so happens that the only devices that support video have a MicroSD slot, but the card isn't required.

There's no video player

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

The music player won't play the videos then...

Ahha - well, that's one way to fill up the device memory.
So you can do it, it just makes no sense
