Smile New Free Theme: Brighter - 01-05-2008, 11:26 AM

All of my themes to date have been dark, usually with a plain black wallpaper and high contrast fonts.

Well, I got a little sick of that, so this one is - well, brighter.

And yeah, I know, having no OTA link sucks. Sorry.

As usual...<sigh>...no love for the 8100's. ;)

Very nice, though. I like the Messages/Calendar/Maps/Media listing...what appears in Maps and Media?

Sorry 'bout the lack of 8100 development - never thought about it. The Maps and Media are just shortcuts, nothing shows under them.

Is that a GrandCentral application Icon or are you using that Icon for something else?

It's a GrandCentral icon for a web shortcut. Same with Remember the Milk, Google Calendar and Notebook, Weather Underground, and BB Forums. I wondered whether anyone noticed my fancy shmancy icons.

Default 8100 Versions - 01-18-2008, 11:35 PM

As requested, here is an 8100 version. Make sure you download the correct edition based on your OS version. You can find your OS version by holding ALT+SHIFT+H or go to Options > About.

I should point out that I do not have a Pearl, so I haven't done any usability testing on this edition. Please post feedback here and I'll make any necessary adjustments. I don't think there will be any needed, but let me know.

[edit] Alright, I'm obviously exhausted. I just busted my butt trying to find the right wallpaper, adjust for the different screen, do other manipulation, take my screenshots, photobucket them, blah blah blah. Package it all up in a nice handy post. Then I realize, looking at my first post, that I'm using a different image on the 8100 version. Dammit. Dammitall. I'm going to bed.[\edit]

There is a problem on my curve with the battery indicator. I'm at 80% full and the indicator shows almost empty with the blinking connector for charging. When i change theme then it gets back to normal.
It happens only with your theme.

very nice! Can you modify the 8300 theme to show sms text and phone log instead of the others you have there? Thanks!

That certainly is strange. I'll see what I can find out about that. Meanwhile, make sure you've got the right version for your OS. The zip file named 8300 contains the 4.2.2.x OS version, the zip named 8800 has the 4.2.1.x version (it should work fine on the Curve). Dunno if that could be the problem...
