Default Mobile Video Sites?

Please Login to Remove!

Are there any sites that allow you to play videos directly from your BB without having to transfer them through USB? YouTube has a mobile site now but I am unable to play them because the built in media player doesn't support the format.

Not sure if this is a dumb question, I guess I haven't been around long enough to know the answer.

There is a program called Mobi Tv and you can also download a third party media player that will allow you to watch mobile you tube as well.

Thanks JSanders/Redflea for the info.

Looks like the blueapple site supports the media player that I am using but I don't get any video just sound. Any idea why? Are you getting video?

the vtap/youtube sites are not supported media by my player. Anything I have to do before I can view videos on these sites? I like the vtap user interface but cannot play videos.

Any help would be appreciated.

I spent a lot of last night trying to find that answer. I was going to ask the same question today. I have the 8100 Pearl and the site works fine for me. On my husband's 8830, it worked a couple of weeks ago, but not now. Any suggestions?

I can't help...vtap and youtube mobile sites work for me, but Blueapple just gives me audio for some reason (when streaming, I haven't tried the download/play option).

Are you using the standard media player that came on your phone? I noticed that you are with verizon, but are you using it on one of their phones?

The download/play option with blueapple just gives me the audio also.

Yup...I'm on VZW w/the 8130 Pearl, using the standard video player. I don't know if you can change which video player is engaged when streaming from a web site...haven't looked into that yet.

Tinytube.net is another one that works pretty well. I've been using it on my 8310.
