Default Using the BB as a Media Player

How does it do? What app would you use to do it? Can you configure play lists an everything?

You can use you media player that comes with the BB. That's what I do. You will need an SD card to handle all your music files. You can do a lot with it. The one thing you can't do with the standard media player is set up playlists.

I know there are others out there but I'm sure you'll have to pay for them. If you are looking for a simple player just go with the one BB has. It works great for me.

Is there an external player available for download somewhere? Im all about the play lists.

Further more Ive been told the Pearl will only accomodate 1 GB Micro SD cards is that right?

the pearl 8130/8120 and any other 4.3 OS devices have a max of 8gb, 4gb on the 4.2 devices

I use FlipSide, a very nice media player (I have a BB Curve). Graphic and organization is very cool with FS.

So since Im on 4.2 My BB Pearl should be able to take a 4 Gig Chip?

Very interesting - Well I found a 4 Gig for $25.00 4.99 shipping and handling.

Worth it or not?

Also I downloaded Flip Side but it looks like Shareware?
