Sorry for the thread starting - Ive been looking for a Portable Media player for quite some time and after reading how many of you are using your BB as a media player Im thinking of giving it a shot.

Is the BB capable of STREAMING audio like a live feed? Im not sure what connection speeds are so thats why I ask. My Music tastes are semi irregular as I like a lot of techno - any ideas fill me in

No streaming... yet. Rumor has it the next major rev of the OS will enable streaming. You can load lots of mp3s tho.

if you are searching for a thread to stream TO the blackberry, well then do a search on Orb. There is a thread going around about streaming XM/Sirius radio over the net.
if you are talking about streaming from the device, i do not think that is possible
