Anyone have themes for pearl? How do I get them on my new phone?

Nope, I'm sorry. There are none.

There are themes for the pearl. I have had several on mine. Although I went back to the L theme and deleted all the rest.

There are tons of Pearl themes...just need to take a few seconds and look at the threads here in this forum w/"theme" in the subject, google "pearl theme" or "8100 theme" or "blackberry themes," etc.

One of my favorite free themes at the moment is the "Satin" theme on page three of BB8100 themes from this site:

There's a lot out there...folks need to take moment and look.

You will NEVER find OTA themes on Blackberryfreaks.com....(unless he decides to create them on his own...haha)

The guy that runs that site STEALS themes from other sites and posts the ZIP file only....unfortunately he does not give credit to the site he stole them from...because I know the other sites DO offer OTA....

Thanks for posting that...I spent some time googling, and finally did find Blue (and Green, and other colors) Satin on Themes4bb, which I presume was its original home.

that is correct...the Satin sheets themes were my creation...and posted on Themes4BB.com WITH OTA!

Ahhh...you're the theme genius! Very nice...one of the best designed and most usable themes I've seen, and the one I'm using full-time right now. Really like all the functionality and info on the Today screen, and the color/font choices look great and are easy to read, even w/my eyes.

If you have a paypal account I'd be pleased to pay for the theme. It really is excellent.

One question...the BBMessenger icon doesn't show up on the Today screen...all the other icons look fine, and the BBMessenger icon appears on the Desktop, but line on the Today screen where the BBMessenger icon is supposed to appear is blank - no icon. I can select that line to open BBMessenger, so the functionality is all working. Any idea of how to make that icon appear?

And a general question on themes, since you're a developer. Slmoney. One thing I've wondered about - my favorite theme style overall is the Today Plus style, with the five top icons from the BB desktop at the bottom of the Today screen. That's the the only thing I would add to your theme if I could. Why is it that there are so few (none, maybe?) variations on the Today Plus theme? Thanks...sorry for the long ramble.

Are you refering the L theme? This is the one I use. I have tried alot of others including the satin and the college themes from BBthemes. I just like the way the L theme performs and I also dont lose valuable memory.

Nope...not the L. The Today Plus screen is just like the Today theme, but when you move the selection to the bottom of the Today screen, the first five icons on your Desktop appear...allows quick access to your top five icons w/out leaving the Today screen to access them.

Anyways..the theme type you want... the template is not available yet. Maybe in the next relelase of Plazmic's(the company)Content Developer Kit, the template will be avlaible to make that type of theme.

And the BBM Messenger Icon? that is Strange.... I've never heard of that doing that before. Have you tried a reset (battery pull) to see if it corrects itself?

Thanks for the info on the Today+ theme...I guess I'll have to wait for the tools to be released.

On the missing icon - yeah, I've reset a bunch of times and it still comes up the same.

I thought maybe the version I got off the bad site was possibly incomplete, so I used the OTA link on the Themes4BB site to reinstall it, restarted my Pearl, and the icon is still missing.

If you have any ideas, I'd be happy to try things. I could remove it entirely and reinstall it, I guess. What do you think?
