Icon preference.. -

A very good question was brought to my attention earlier today. Would you rather have custom icons, or use the default icons with an incredibly good background, organized, clean banner and menus?

I like custom icons, as long as they still readily identify the ap without having to study the screen for minutes. This is an area where it is possible to be too creative.

^^ What he said. I'm getting tired of the default icons, but won't use custom icons (or theme) if the icons are not 'intuitive' to me.

I prefer the default icons because customs ones tend to differ so much from applications I install -- makes the screen look messy.

i use custom icons, but let me clarify this...unlike custom icons in your BBOSX theme the icons i use are similar to the default icons, but more crisp and more pleasant to eyes - in my opinion..
i do not like complete custom icons because when you load a 3rd party app the icons don't all match...

I like to see custom icons on the themes, sure it may take a bit to get used to what the icon is for, but overall it's worth it.

I still use the default Verizon theme with default icons. Simple and clean. I changed the background, but icons still the same defaults.

I voted for custom icons as long as they are easy to tell what they are. I just wish I had Photoshop skills. :P

I prefer default, it takes me a while to get acquainted with custom icons.

I like when you don't break nda's and use beta tools to sell themes.
