Default Please Post Today Plus Theme Screenshots - 02-12-2008, 03:27 PM

I've read the posts stating that you can now download the Today Plus theme for the 83xx by visiting mobile.blackberry.com from your BlackBerry web browser. I'd love to see some screenshots though. Can someone please post a few different screenshots of this theme? Thanks In Advance!!

I just installed it this morning. I removed my custom wallpaper to show the original one.

Thanks for the shots.

Black text on a dark background will make it difficult to read.

I agree, but they actually have a slight highlight around it that makes it kind of standout.

My wallpaper I am actually using is a B&W picture I took of my wife with my curve and it looks awesome.

I am really liking this theme.

Thanks for posting the screenshots. It's exactly like the theme that used to be available at bbextras.com except with this one when you scroll right the Today portion is totally hidden. The theme that used to be available at bbextras had it so when you scrolled right the Today portion was still visible.

This is the wallpaper I'm using with Today Plus theme (at least right now). It actually works very well.

It's a cool wallpaper. He's kind of hanging out between the text and icons. Keeping watch.

it would be the same license agreement stated when you browse any part of the mobile.blackberry.com site right? aka when you click on themes it asks you to agree to the ToS, etc

These themes are for the Curve, not an 8703e. That may be your problem unless you haven't updated your profile.

It isn't very functional for the trackwheel since it requires 2 axis navigation

I was a bphone user for what seems forever with a black background. Black with a diagonal gray/white stripe (called black smoke, I think). Anyway, I am now using the Today Plus with that black background and it actually works and looks great!!!
There's no harm in trying it, the worst that could happen is you wouldn't like it, the best would be you would be pleasently surprised like I was.

I agree. I posted this wallpaper earliler, but it got lost in the big crash. The black background works fine. Post yours if you don't mind.

I bit the bullet, tried it, liked it for a while but became frustrated with the icons not sticking to where you moved them to after a reset.

I've never had that problem with the icons moving after a reset, hopefully, that won't be something to look forward to.

Is there one for the 8130 series, I tried this one but the GPS Icon gets in the way of the time, or date I can't remember.

Thanks for posting this... Out of curiosity what other themes are offered on mobile.blackberry.com? With my data plan I'm not able to access the BB browser to check for myself.

Thanks.

Correct me if I am wrong: At this point we can only change the wallpaper (or background) for the Today Plus theme. We can't tinker with the theme itself (by way of Plazmic Theme Builder, for example).
