Contrary to another posters mini immature frat boy rant, I like it. Especially like the BIG clock.

The day I see a theme with a BIG clock and a BIG font will be the happiest day of my life. You've got the big clock. I know most people don't like a large font, so there aren't any theme designers using one.

You may ask, but it won't be answered.

Otherwise, there would be no reason to have deleted that post.

it really isnt worth asking about a deleted thread. it was deleted, for whatever specific reason, the general was to keep the threads PG since this is a family site.

As to the theme itself, it looks like you reposted the second image, made it a bit clearer

Yes I did repost the second image. And I was curious about what he said because if he was talking bad about my theme, I wanted to hear the criticism. But I guess it didn't matter...

yeah not worth delving in to. glad to see you posted the second one again, the first looked a bit off, not the theme itself just the image of it

The deleted post stated admiration for your creative use of blending the orange to yellow.

What size font do you normally use? I like size 11 - the only theme I have with that size font is the verizon theme. That's so nice of you to offer. It wouldn't work for me though, because I have an 8830. But if you ever decide to make a theme for that model please announce it on the forum.

once he makes the theme, he can use the theme creator to export for different devices.

Its a nice theme. I like the contrast in the colors as well. I am finiding that I dont use any custom themes anymore since I discovered the L theme. I cant seem to use any other.

Can't you use your Evil Jedi Powers to make the changes?

I do like the color of the OP's theme looks good and the BIG clock is a plus

I agree with this as well. I have users that ask for themes with bigger home screen fonts. They are far and few between to find. I really like the large clock as well. As far as the theme looks, I think you did an excellent job for your first theme.

Great Job.

If I could make a suggestion. One of the things that make a custom theme stand out is the banner. Changing the font, location of the time and banner icons, etc. makes a huge difference between the standard template and what you call your own. It just a suggestion.

Great job regardless

Looks good so far..

A few things I would change...

1) Battery color..the Blue does not fit the Flame colors
2) Signal meter color as well. A Nice RED would look great...
3) The area where you have the # of messages...you should dedicate a larger area for that. What happens is that you might get a Voicemail, Email message, SMS or a BlackBerry Messenger message all at once..and they will overlap.
4) The black background for the menu might not work to well. When it comes time to go to your browser, the text is also black there..and you will not be able to see it.

5) Don't be afraid to use different fonts...just make sure you use font smoothing (anti-aliasing)...

Other than that...great first attempt. I remember mine..and looking back now..I'm embarrased I ever released it.

1)How would I change the color?
2)How would I change the color?
3)See updated screen shot and tell me what you think.
4)They should then download Opera Mini. (Or will the problem still exist?)
5)How do I "smooth" the fonts?

Sure it is...the Today Plus theme for the Pearl is available here:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

This link has the Dimension TodayPlus and Phantom themes for the Pearl...not my link, someone else posted it.

Oh...here's the OTA:

1) use photoshop, or the like
2) use photoshop, or the like
4) Opera is not for everyone, and it's not just the browser menu
5) in themebuilder when you select the font there is an anti-aliasing option

So I just edit the icon? Weird, I was thinking since it was the battery icon, it would be harder than that.

I like the warmth of the flames you have going on here. And on a red Curve it should really stand out. Cant wait to put it on mine.

I have it finished for the 8300 Zen version. For now it will just be available over the Desktop Manager. I may wait to release it until all versions and all phones are done.

I put it on my phone and the banner looks kind of funny. I am going to have to do some editing then I will be using the device simulator to test it. I also am not sure about how much I like the icons.

See that is why I don't make themes, I would be going nuts getting just the right thing to make it look right. But keep up the good work and I think you are well on your way to getting this one just right.
