Where is this located or how is it done> I have an 8830 and am stumped.

there is a Media Manager icon, within the Desktop Manager program. use this to "drag and drop" media files from your computer to your device.

should have installed at the same time. what version of Desktop Manager are you running? Here are the instructions for the video How do I convert video using Roxio - BlackBerryFAQ.com.

try the links above and download either 4.2 sp 2 again or use 4.3. Make sure you follow the second link to uninstall/reinstall the software.

I see a 4.2 version ob BBs site.

yes, the version of Desktop Manager is immaterial
