Currently having a problem I have been trying to send a mp3 file through mms from bb 8320 curve to a bb pearl the mp3 sends but cannot be saved as a ringtone or sometimes not even opened. Does anybody know what the problem is? The mp3 was cut down to a sizeable size to be sent through mms. ALso there are no problems sending it i just do not know what is going on? Any help thank you very much.

mp3 attachments are not supported at this time. you can send the attachment as a WAV file

would wav files be able to be saved and used as ringtones? or you cant send mms mp3 files through mms which would allow you to use them as ringtones?

you should be able to save the wav attachment and then from there just go into media and set as ringtone

I've been able to send my mp3 ringtones to people using mms and they've been able to save them. The people I send the ringtone to don't have berries though.
