Default copying video on 8310 tip

Please Login to Remove!

so i just wasted almost an hour just now when i was simply trying to load some movies on my 8310 before taking off to las vegas tomorrow. I wanted to throw my 8310 against the wall after copying my files over to the sd card but when running video player, realizing my 8310 not recognizing my movies....

so... long story short -i learned the 8310 is quite picky when it comes to "how to copy" files over to be readable. In other words, my 8310 never recognized my movie files because i originally dragged and dropped the files from window to window. Apparently, the 8310 doesnt like this method as it doesnt recognize the files after my PC showing it successfully copied over.

Instead, you want to right click the files, select copy, then paste it to the sd card.

maybe you all already knew this but i figured i try to give some pointers so another person wont have to waste valuable time and avoid the frustration!!

I drap and drop movies from my from PC to the 8310 via USB all the time, no issue.
But thanks thanks for the suggestion.

The first time loaded videos I dragged and dropped and learned the hard way, unless the video is in the correct format it doesn't work. I learned to use the Media Manager. I select then copy down and let it convert for optimal performance.

I haven't put any music or movies onto my BB. Despite the fact that I have a 4GB card. Maybe tonight

Gotta test out the new BB stereo headset I got
