I am trying to get my girlfriends BlackBerry Pearl set up so she can use it as an MP3 player. Where do you all legally download compatible music? Obviously I am looking to pay but are any of the music services (e.g. yahoo, rhapsody, etc.) compatible? Is everyone just using limewire or an equivalent?

I think only certain songs on iTunes are DRM free. They cost a little more and are in the iTunes Plus section. If you or your friend have CDs, you can rip the songs you want and load them on the BB.

That is what I do rip them to CD then load

yes, if you burn the songs from Itunes to a CD, then rip them using WMP or Roxio you can rip them directly to the device

Only a limited number of iTunes songs are DRM free.

Limewire, bearshare..... the only two I use.
