Default Ringtone Volume Is VERY Low

Please Login to Remove!

I was able to figure out getting the ringtone of the Treo 650 into a midi format and I was able to get the midi file on to my BB and set it as the ringtone, but it is VERY, VERY quiet.

I don't really know what to do now, the volume of the tone in the preview is as high as it will go.

PLEASE HELP!

THANK YOU!!!

Is that a tone you have to have? Do you have your Profile setting for the volume set to high for both settings IN and OUT of holster?

Try pumping up the volume on your PC in an audio editing application and putting it on your BB again.

I kinda had this problem too. I just switched over from a Treo 650 and brought over some of the standard midi ringers, but they sound different on the Pearl. My old standard "Ringer Short Long" sounds very electronic on the Pearl, while Treo played it loud and clear. Does the Pearl have issues with playing midi ringtones clearly?
