Default New Media Player

Please Login to Remove!

I have the 8300 that sports the initial media player that supports .mp3 format. The new curve models have media players that now support .wma and .wmv.

Is there a way i can get that new media player without buying the new device?

Upgrade the OS, when available, which it is not available yet.

I don't believe so... some media will automatically pull the media app to open, but you can install a third party media app (like mediaPlayer by Dollars5). I just havn't used that one lately to remember.
