Does someone have any experiences with themes created with this version of CDK on 4.5 devices?

Any compatibility issues?

So how beginner-friendly is this Plazmic software? I've quite a few theme ideas rolling around on my mind, and want to try my hand at creating them. I'd like to get a good idea about this software before jumping in to the 183mb download.

It's not that hard... just tool around a junk theme to get the idea how it works.

I would suggest reading the user guide in the theme builder, I learned a lot about the program before I started making themes.

Does anyone have a zipped file that you could host or e-mail me with all the 4.2 OS items needed. Every time I try to download any of the software it errors out on me while downloading... I really want to building themes but can't get the software.
Thank you in advance,
Spencer S.

Yea I get an error on the java downloads. I think thats all I'm missing. If someone could zip or rar all the files needed, we may get more themes. I just want to give it a try.

I downloaded Plazmic last night. I notice on the requirements it needs "Blackberry device simulators 4.2.2+" and "Blackberry Email and MDS server simulators". Now, the Email and MDS download is straight forward, only one option.

For the device simulator i went to version 4.6, but on that download, it said "supported devices: Pearl 8220" Well i have a 8310, that wont work. So i checked the older versions. I found a download to 8310 but, there is not one for AT&T. Nor did i see a general one. "Rogers" and "Vodafone" were the only ones i saw.

My questions is, does it matter? can i download either one and do what i want to do, which is build themes?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I am trying to edit a free theme that I downloaded for my 8820. I downloaded the Plazmic program but it does not recognize the theme file, so I am not able to open in within that program. Is there a way to edit an existing theme?
