Default How to get wallpaper to take up all screen? - 04-22-2008, 03:53 AM

How do i get my wallpaper or picture I have saved to take up all the screen on my blackberry? When I apply it from pictures it just takes up like the middle of the screen and looks stupid.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Is the size compatible for your device?

i have never had this problem,

i use desktop wall papers, but when i do pics its the same, when you take the pic does it take up the whole screen when you view it. that may be the problem if so, if that is the problem then i would suggest that you reset your pic configuration to a higher format so that it does take up the whole screen.

some of the pics i have on my puter i transfered from my hd, i use them for my individual person pics, they do not take up the whole screen because the format is too tall or too small. i dont suggest changing the size of the pics because it can cause distortion.

If you resize your wallpapers to 320 x 240 it will utilize the full screen. If you don't want to resize your wallpapers you can do the following: when looking at a picture you want to use as a wallpaper press the menu button and choose the zoom feature, move the trackball to zoom in and out and when you've got the image looking the way you want press the menu button and select the set as homes screen image option.

The banners on the AT&T theme, and some others, are not transparent. There's nothing you can do about it.

You can also open the pic, hit zoom and then save as wallpaper.
