Unhappy media manager can't see/use sd card! - 05-08-2008, 12:55 PM

what a nice topic for a first post. :l
anyways, when i open media manager, it can't see my sd card!
i have a 2 gig.
my device can see it, i can save pictures there, and move music files to there, but my computer will not recognize it.
i have mass storage mode turned on,
i just uninstalled the desktop and i'm about to reinstall it to see if it will work,
i've tried that before, though. :l

Welcome to the forums Sadiesykes!

When you turn Mass Storage on the PC treats it as a jump drive and you can no longer see it through the Desktop Manager Media Manager. If you want to use Media Manager disable mass storage mode. Otherwise, just drag and drop files to it using windows (it will be assigned a drive letter such a F:\)

Good Luck!

Yes. If you want to use media manager to view files then Menu>Options>Advanced Options>Media Card> Mass Storage Mode Support = (OFF).
