Default 8800 doesn't play .mp3 past 4 minutes - 06-09-2008, 07:37 AM

This past weekend I loaded up a few mp3s on my wifes 8800. This morning she tried to listen to them and any song longer than 4 minutes would stop playing at the 4 minute mark. I'll try to put her microsd in my curve tonight but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas?

I've got plenty of music on my 8800 over 4 minutes long, all loaded on the MicroSD card and they all play fine.

Same here. I play tunes in excess of 4 minutes without any problem. How did you transfer the files to the microSD? I did it by dragging the mp3 files directly in the music subfolder.
Good luck

We reloaded the mp3's last night and had the same issue occur. The mp3's play fine when on a computer.
