Post putting music on phone - 06-16-2008, 08:31 PM

Ok so I'm trying to put music on my phone, they are all in mp3's and i get them moved over then a little thing pops up that says "not enough space on disk" Does this mean my phone memory is full? I dk how it could be because I don't have anything in my ringtones, music, videos, or pictures folders other then what came on my phone, and I deleted all SMS and MMS messages. Help please!
P.S is there anyone to put songs straight onto memory card using Desktop Manger via Roxio?

If you're trying to load mp3's to the device memory then there is a 2.86 MB limit. There is no size limit on the media card.

Hey, I'm also new to blackberry, just got my phone last week. I tried putting music (mp3s) onto my phone using the Roxio software that was in the box. My media manager was able to connect just fine and i was able to back up all my stuff. However with the Roxio it says "There is no device connected. Please connect your device in order to view its contents". I wasnt even able to access the pictures i took with my camera. Does anyone have any solutions? I dont have a microSD card yet.

There is very little internal memory and the result may be that it would not even find the space for any mp3 files. I tend to use Windows Explorer and drag/drop from my computer to an SD card. I have a different device so I don't know about the storage of photos. But you can try opening the Media Player and when you see its icons, press your MENU key and then select EXPLORE and you may be able to look around the internal memory and see your photos.

Only add mp3's with a SD card

If you enable mass storage on your memory card setting, you should be able to just drag and drop onto SD card.

Most efficient way is drag and drop. Locate your BB on your computer. Open the folders. One should be named blackberry/music. You can drag a folder with you mp3 tracks. Unplug the BB and open the Media Player. Should work like a charm.
