Default help with themes - 07-02-2008, 01:55 AM

I have an 8330
and I have downloaded themes OTA before and they have worked
I tried to download a theme OTA before and when I went to the list of the themes I have only the stock ones showed up.
I had a few more in there.
I went to the application list and they were still all there.
I downloaded another theme or 2 and those only showed up in application list as well, not in theme list
this is a v4.3.0.127 curve

any ideas??

and I have plenty of memory

Have you uninstalled default themes? Are these themes built for your device?

I have tried a battery pull and a soft reset.

no I haven't removed default themes. And yes they are for my device, they had worked fine.
I am thinking it might have something to do with Vlingo, as I downloaded it a few days ago, and as far as I know the themes were fine before that.

First..what theme(s) are you trying to install? There are a few themes built only for OS 4.5 that are popping up here and there. It could be that you downloaded one of those themes and they will not work on OS 4.3.
