If anyone knows how that's fairly easy and wouldn't mind sharing the way I would give it a go, or if you think you guys could do it fairly easy that would be great too.

I'm looking for a cross that would be either....could be just a small plain one that fills up/depletes depending on the battery life, or signal something like that.

You are looking for an application for such, or a theme?

I know my theme already has those icons at the top of the screen.

I'm mainly looking for the signal or battery icon so I can make my own theme, I would make one myself but I'm not good at that and don't have a clue on how to do it.

did you run a search for those icons? I have some I have found but dont know how to create my own yet

I have searched for the meters, I would make some for myself but I have no idea how to make signal/battery meters

When you install Plazmic's Theme Builder, it installs documentation as to the dimensions, etc. for battery and signal meters. I made some of my own a few months ago, so I can't recall all the details right now, but it was pretty easy to do in the GIMP. Just mind-numbingly boring as it was alot of copy and paste.
