Question a tough one

Please Login to Remove!

My windows folders have mp3's sorted in order by album. When I load them onto my 2G card and load them into my Curve, the playlists are all messed up. Out of order and can't seem to get my folder names to show up as playlists. Any ideas would be appreciated big time.

Wirelessly posted

My MP3s are sorted by artist and show up fine when I drag and drop the folders to my 2G Card. I do use iTunes to keep my music organized on my mac.

I'm facing the same thing - I deliberately use non-standard folders for my music - and parallel one set in BB format and one in lossless WMA - some of the tunes are coming up incompatible and a lot are losing their "membership" to their artists and/or albums.

My plan to cope is a free weekend and ripping everything again from scratch - into a pair of dedicated external drives - then synching back to the BB - or maybe just copying it all to my SD card.

Have you properly completed the ID Tags for each track?
I save my mp3 by album on my PC. With Windows Media Player, I fill all the ID Tags. I then copy the folders in the music subfolder on my 8GB microSD card and everything comes out fine, properly sorted and all.
